Why?

You're considering spending time and/or resource in the hope of a return
If there is uncertainty ('Will it be worth the money? Will I regret it?), analysis paralysis can set in
Here are the standard cures:
list the pros and cons.
try the 10/10/10 rule — how will I feel about this in 10 mins, 10 months, 10 years
talk with folks you trust
sleep on it
BUT!
... there is a Big Picture Cure which you can use Post Decision
You can ZOOM OUT
... and realise that the story you tell yourself is yours alone
Your mind will interpret, and it's up to you whether you want to accept that version
